Una puntura tra la paglia

Erika Larsen (Redux) quest'anno si è classificata seconda nella sezione Sports Features del World Press Photo con un lavoro sui bambini cacciatori. Le sue immagini, anche quelle più strettamente reportagistiche , non sono mai enfatiche nè brutali, la violenza insita in alcune sue foto perde consistenza e si trasforma quasi in elemento poetico. come le mani insaguinate di un bambino mentre sezionano un animaletto, che sembrano essere immerse in uno stato di grazia. Erika Larsen (Redux) ranked second in the Sports Features section of 2008 World Press Photo contest with her work on baby hunters. His images are never emphatic or brutal, not even the more reportagistic ones. The violence inside her pictures loses consistency and turns into something almost poetic, like the bloody hands of a kid dissecting a small dead animal, looking like immersed in a state of grace.
