Science Fiction

Mary Mattingly creates images of what she believes will be the future of human kind: climate changes, nomadism, post-atomic technology made of weird domes, wearable houses, lonely characters staring around themselves with an empty gaze: scary, in one word.
Make a tour in her website, full of hypothetical projects of this new existential technology for the man of the future, foreseeing also a church of the consumer that should bring together all the lonelinesses through the net and a novel method of calculating time…
A short essay on her work here.
